PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai’s name removed from ECL – Pakistan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai’s name was removed from the Exit Control List (ECL).

Former provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai was prevented from going to Saudi Arabia and the UK because his name was included in the ECL, on which Shaukat Yousafzai approached the Peshawar High Court and the Peshawar High Court ordered the removal of Shaukat Yousafzai’s name from the ECL. It was ordered.

By implementing this, the Home Department removed Shaukat Yousafzai’s name from the ECL and sent a letter to the FIA.

According to the post, it has been decided to remove the name on the order of the Peshawar High Court, Shaukat Yousafzai’s name was included in the ECL on the recommendation of the caretaker government.

It may be recalled that on July 23, the Peshawar High Court ordered the removal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

The petitioner’s lawyer said that Shaukat Yousafzai was stopped from going to Europe at Islamabad Airport, he was stopped earlier when he was going for Umrah, now he was stopped from going to Europe again at Islamabad Airport.

The petitioner’s lawyer said that there is an FIR in Shangla, in which Shaukat Yousafzai is on bail, his name has been included in the ECL on this FIR.

Director Legal FIA told the court that on a letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs, his name was included in the ECL on an FIR in Shangla.

Lawyer Shaukat Yousafzai argued that the Home Department has cleared us.

Director Legal FIA said that DG has been spoken to, Home Department has cleared them then we have no objection.

Later, the court ordered removal of Shaukat Yousafzai’s name from the list.
