This Sunday night, the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Godfather Lopezspoke alongside members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces to highlight the civility and respect seen during the presidential elections.
From the Strategic Operational Command postThe official referred to July 28 as “a beautiful, peaceful day.” He also highlighted that the population turned out to exercise their right.
“We could say that minor incidents, so tiny that naming them would make no sense, are part of the job, part of a Republic operation that is at a national level”added Padrino Lopez.
The Minister of Defense explained that the population, through the vote, “has risen up with great force and force to reject and demand the cessation of sanctions against Venezuela”.
This, Padrino López added, allows the country to prepare to “open its arms to a new stage.”
“The Republic Plan continues its progress and execution,” said the military official. “We are going to enter the post-electoral phase, we will be constantly monitoring the entire situation throughout the national territory.”
Padrino López’s statements coincided with those made earlier by the Attorney General, Tarek William Saabwho congratulated voters for exercising their right with civility and without irregularities.
