“He predicted Biden and Trump’s victory”.. American professor predicts Harris’ victory in the presidential elections

American University historian and history professor Allan Lichtman is known for the accuracy of his predictions based on a system of 13 questions that can only be answered with “yes” or “no.” He has previously successfully predicted the winners of previous presidential elections, and said it would be a mistake for Democrats to replace US President Joe Biden in the 2024 elections.

The “Thirteen Keys to the White House” formula was developed by Lichtman and famous mathematician Vladimir Kellis-Boruk in 1981, and has since been used to predict the results of US presidential elections with a high degree of success.

The principle of operation of this formula is as follows: if the answer to six or more questions is “yes,” this always means that the current party is the one that will win. However, if the answer to six or more questions is “no,” the voters will turn against the ruling party.

The questions cover the country’s economic situation, social unrest, the presence of scandals, the candidates’ major successes and failures, as well as their personal influence (charisma).

“Harris won,” said historian and history professor Lichtman. “(She has) eight yeses and five noes.” The professor said the final projections will be released after the Democratic Party convention in August, when Democrats will formally announce their nominee.

Lichtman has been predicting the outcome of US presidential elections since 1984. During that time, Lichtman has predicted the winner nine times and got it wrong only once, when he predicted that Democrat Albert Gore would win in 2000, but Republican George Bush won.

Given that election was plagued by the Florida recount scandal, the professor believes his predictions were accurate from the start.

The US presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 5, and the Democratic Party was supposed to represent the current US President Joe Biden, but after his disastrous performance in the June debate with Republican opponent Donald Trump, calls began to escalate among Democrats for Biden to abandon the race, which he did on July 21, when he decided to withdraw from the race and support the nomination of his deputy Kamala Harris for the highest US government position.
