WhatsApp removes passwords on iPhone; this is how “Passkeys” work

WhatsApp has taken an important step for users of iPhone. And in an attempt to provide them with greater security, the instant messaging app has been updated and added the passkeys. In a statement, WhatsApp said:

“Passwords are now rolling out to iOS, a more secure (and easier!) way to log back in with Face ID, Touch ID, or your password”

With this, users who have an iPhone will be able to use passkeys to log in in their respective WhatsApp accountsWith this, they will have a Easier and safer access when they want to log back in.

In addition, they will forget about SMS messages that arrive with a code, which sometimes led to identity theft. This update will arrive gradually to all users who have an iPhone.
