Through X, the Venezuelan Vice Minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, expressed that Milei’s Executive, “In his desperation, he threatens to invade the Venezuelan Embassy in Argentina, thus violating the Vienna Convention.”

“We hold Milei responsible for the physical integrity of our diplomatic staff. There are at least 220,000 Venezuelans living in Argentina, but only 2,638 people were eligible to vote, and those who were not part of that 1.5% decided to go to the area around the Embassy in Buenos Aires to accompany their compatriots who were going to vote.
