The police have been looking for the missing man with both patrols, the police dog and helicopter, but gradually there are fewer and fewer possible investigative steps, as no new leads have appeared. The latest thing the police have done is to search for the man internationally. However, the 68-year-old is not in possession of his passport, and therefore the police mostly believe that he is within the country’s borders.
Police Commissioner at North Jutland Police Michael Karstenskov emphasizes that the case is still pending and that the police will respond to any information from the public.
– If you see a person who you think could be him, then kindly contact him directly and ask. The missing person is in no way dangerous, on the contrary, he is a very nice man, says the police commissioner.
The man is wanted with the following description: 180 centimeters tall, of strong build and with a gray ponytail. He may be wearing black clothes and black glasses.
The police have previously stated that the man disappeared from Frederikshavn. The police suspended the active part of the search on 24 July.
