More than a thousand boys and girls enjoyed the entertainment programming offered by the children’s pavilion during the ten days that the Venezuela International Book Fair, Filven 2024, lasted.
More than 60 activities were staged in said space, including storytelling, making necklaces, bracelets and making paintings, with the support of re-enactors who knew how to guide children’s creativity.
Augusto Melero Gómez, coordinator of the Pavilion, highlighted that the activity that caught the attention of the children the most was the creation of necklaces, which requires inventiveness to make an allegorical ethnic garment with feathers, seeds and many colors.
He explained that mothers and fathers joined the programming, who found the perfect excuse to return to their childhood, in addition to sharing with their little ones.
Melero Gómez indicated that various publishers and institutions participating in the 20th Filven were great allies in the execution of these activities, such as the Autonomous Institute of the National Library and Library Services (IABNSB), the Comptroller General of the Republic and the Comandante Hugo Chávez Foundation. , among others.
