The latest installment of ‘Deadpool’ left us with a series of cameos and references that few have managed to decipher.
Everyone was saying that the role of Lady Deadpool in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ would be played by Taylor Swift. There was also speculation that the variant of Marvel’s antihero would be portrayed by Ryan Reynolds himself, but wearing heels and a wig. However, neither of the fans’ assumptions came to fruition, as the role was perfectly suited for an actress Reynolds met during the filming of ‘Green Lantern’, the 2011 film in which the actor portrayed the DC Comics character.
We are talking about Blake Lively, the actress known for her role in ‘Gossip Girl’ and for being the wife of Ryan Reynolds since 2012. After a four-year hiatus from her film career, during which she even made her directorial debut in a Taylor Swift music video, Lively has returned to the big screen.

Carol Ferris is a recurring character in DC comics and, in some stories, she becomes Star Sapphire, a superheroine with powers based on love.
