Paris 2024 Olympics: Enzo Lefort, art and fencing

For the Paris Olympic Games, Enzo Lefort will aim, with the tip of his foil, for the individual Olympic medal. But also the team gold medal. Originally from Basse-Terre in Guadeloupe, the foil fencer, triple world champion (twice individually, once in a team) developed a passion for fencing very early on, when he discovered the athlete Laura Flessel at the age of 5 at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

Then, the practice of tennis ended, and came the passion for fencing, which would drive him throughout his schooling. Junior French champion at 19, he flew to the Paris region to continue his studies, before joining the Insep and graduating from a physiotherapy school. His athletic qualities are combined with a taste for effort and an intelligence of situations. Silver medalist in the team foil at the 2016 Olympic Games, Enzo Lefort has always dreamed stronger, bigger.
