Paraguayan government condemns attack that left 11 children dead in northern Israel

The government of Paraguay On Saturday, the Palestinian Authority (PA) expressed its rejection and condemnation of the attack that resulted in the death of 11 children, caused by a rocket launched from Lebanon that hit a football field in the city of Majdal Shams, in northern Israel.

“The Government of Paraguay repudiates and condemns the cowardly attack on civilians perpetrated by the terrorist group Hezbollah that cost the lives of minors,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the South American country expressed through the social network X.

The Paraguayan government described the aggression as atrocious

The Foreign Ministry described the attack as a “heinous aggression” and expressed its condolences to the families of the victims.

“Actions like this should not be tolerated by the international community,” the statement said.

On Saturday, a projectile fired from Lebanon hit a football field in the town of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, the Israeli emergency service Magen David Amon (MDA) confirmed.

The rocket crash left more than 30 people injured, six of them in serious condition, 10 with minor injuries and several victims with symptoms of anxiety, according to a report by the MDA.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said this was the deadliest attack against Israeli civilians since the resumption of the conflict in the Gaza Strip following the events of October 7, 2023.
