They discussed strengthening strategic and economic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and increasing economic cooperation and investment.

“He called for a ceasefire in Gaza and emphasized the importance of the OIC’s role in addressing the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah, including Islamophobia and the situation in Palestine and Kashmir,” the post on X said.

According to APP, in a meeting with Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Deputy Prime Minister appreciated Saudi Arabia’s ‘Vision 2030’.

He said that the recent visit of Saudi Foreign Minister to Pakistan represents a new momentum in economic cooperation between the two countries.

He said that the Pakistani government wants to transform the traditionally fraternal relationship with Kuwait into a mutually beneficial economic partnership.

Apart from this, Ishaq Dar also discussed with Qatar’s Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani on further strengthening of trade and investment.

He called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during talks with all Arab officials and praised Egypt’s role in supporting international humanitarian aid for Palestine in a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Hassan Shoukry.
