With a number of interesting players in Djurgården’s boys’ academy, it is important to act long-term and thus the time has come for a contract extension for Carl Selfvén – a spirited, strong running and playable right-back who is now ready for continued play in DIF over the 2027 season.
A gratifying signing for boys’ academy director Joel Riddez, who has seen a strong development in Carl.
– We have had an agreement from before which we are now extending so that we can work together for another three years. It feels good that all parties are satisfied and Carl is a player we believe in long-term with fine qualities and good development potential who has been in our business for a long time, sums up Joel.
