The meeting of those interested in participating in the thematic working groups for the Patrino Carnival 2025 was held with great success and in a particularly fruitful atmosphere on the evening of Wednesday, July 24, in the central hall (K6-Carnival) of the Old Slaughterhouse multipurpose hall.
The great response and active participation in the open call without exclusions and discrimination decided by the Board of Directors. of KEDIP, was reflected in the large number of applications for participation and in the substantial discussion that took place in a friendly atmosphere and indeed in the heart of the summer. Something that proves the increased interest of the participants and leaves a lot of hope for the preparation and progress of the 2025 Patras Carnival. The President and the members of the Board of Directors of KEDIP-Patras Carnival welcomed and thanked those interested in helping the 10 thematic groups that will be drawn up next few days, towards the end of next week.
In the creative discussion, many opinions were heard from the stakeholders and a constructive dialogue developed. During the meeting, guidelines and detailed information were given to understand the content of tasks and the way the thematic groups operate, which have been designed by the Board. of KEDIP and in which the participants will have an active role in the planning, coordination and implementation of each action.
The staffing of the thematic groups will follow from the end of next week. New similar meetings will be repeated in the near future, while the results of the teams’ work are expected to be seen from October.
Finally, the high number of applications for participation submitted in the online form of the official website of KEDIP www.carnivalpatras.gr led to the extension of the deadline for submission of applications-declarations of participation until Sunday, August 4 in order to give the possibility of involvement to the thematic groups for the Patrino Carnival 2025 to everyone.
