He wrote in the letter, “Through social media and other information broadcasting means, it has been brought to our attention that Elvish Yadav took a photo after visiting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, raising questions for the temple administration and the district administration of Varanasi. Sir, the use of mobile phones and cameras is completely prohibited in the Kashi Vishwanath temple complex. The continuous use of cameras in restricted areas is hurting the sentiments of regular pilgrims and poses a possibility of a breach in the temple’s security. Therefore, it is requested that appropriate action be taken after considering the entire matter.”
The lawyer stated, “Today (Elvish) came to visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. After that, he clicked a picture in the premises where carrying a mobile phone is strictly forbidden. This is a violation of the temple’s important rules.”
Police have ordered an investigation
In response to the allegations of photography inside the temple, Joint Police Commissioner K. Agilerson reported that some individuals filed a complaint against Elvish Yadav this morning. Orders for an investigation have been issued, and appropriate action will be taken.
