IDF forces from the Harov Patrol, Dovdvan and Unit 636, together with the Security Forces and the Shin Bet, completed the counter-terrorism operation in the Tulkarm region, which began early this morning, this evening (Tuesday).
During the operation, the forces blew up the hiding apartment of the head of the Hamas terrorist infrastructure in Tulkarm, which was trapped in explosives, and posed a threat to the IDF forces.

The IDF stated that the terrorists who were eliminated during the operation promoted and carried out, in recent months, terrorist plots and shooting attacks against Bat-Hefer and the nearby settlements. The most wanted persons who were eliminated, by means of an aircraft, are Ashraf Nafe, the commander of the military wing of Hamas in Tulkarem, and Muhammad Abu Abdo, Commander of the al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades. In addition, four other terrorists who were with them were killed in the attack.
The army refuted the claims made by some of the media that the IDF hid the identity of the terrorists from the public, claiming that their identity and location is with the Palestinian Authority.
