Former US President Barack Obama has not endorsed Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate, saying he believes the current vice president will not be able to beat her Republican rival Donald Trump in the November election, the New York Post reported, citing a source close to President Joe Biden’s family.

Harris, whose candidacy received support from Biden after he announced his withdrawal from the race, quickly secured the backing of her party’s donors as well as elected officials and other top political leaders.
Obama, however, has been a notable exception in not voicing his support for Harris’s candidacy.
