The representative of the Unitary Platform before the National Electoral Council (CNE), Delsa Solorzanoreported on Wednesday that 99.5% of all these people have already been loaded into the witness accreditation system for the elections this Sunday, July 28.
“We have 99.5% of the witnesses who will be watching over the votes on Sunday loaded into the system at this time (…) They must have credentials, the percentage of witnesses who have credentials is minimal due to problems with the system,” he said.
Solórzano, in an Instagram live with his substitutes Juan Carlos Caldera and Perkins Rocha, assured that they are constantly working to finish resolving the problems that have arisen in this part of the process for uploading the information and printing the accreditations of these people, since they have had to do it for each one because there are problems in doing it on a massive scale.
He stressed that since Tuesday, July 23, they have been communicating with the CNE through the main rectors Aimé Nogal and Juan Carlos Delpino, saying that there is a commitment from the governing body to properly accredit the witnesses who will take care of the votes
Solórzano stressed that they expect the accreditations to be ready at 5:00 pm today and that they will announce it at a press conference.
