The leading Greek pharmaceutical company VIANEX completes a century of history in the field of medicine this year.

A sales network in the Balkan countries, creation of a Research Center in the Industrial Area of ​​Patras for the development of new pharmaceutical products, new investments in medicines, but also in other similar sectors are some of the strategic moves that the VIANEX Group will implement in 2024, a milestone year with heavy symbolism due to the anniversary, but also with substantial content due to its targeting. And all this, against the mandatory returns (clawback) of the pharmaceutical industry which are increasing dramatically.

The VIANEX Group was founded in 1971 and today has four factories, three of which are in Attica and one in Patras, a building in Varybompi, where the administrative services are housed, and a new facility in Gerakas with warehouses and offices. It records top performance in a wide range of activities – production, marketing, distribution and export of medicines -, enters into strategic agreements with multinational pharmaceutical houses, constantly expands its portfolio and is the best ambassador of Greek medicine, with a presence in more than 114 countries.

At Factory 4 in Patras, oral suspensions (syrups), capsules, tablets and dry injectables are manufactured and packaged for both the Greek and European markets.

A large Research Center for the development of new pharmaceutical products is also being created in the Industrial Zone of Patras, an investment of 10 million euros. This project is expected to be completed soon.
