The National Electoral Council (CNE) published on Thursday, July 25, the Electoral Table Manual for the operation of voting tables during the presidential elections.
Through its website, the CNE published the Electoral Table Manual, which includes general information necessary for the correct operation of the voting tables during the electoral event scheduled for July 28.
What does the CNE Electoral Board Manual contain?
This document includes a Glossary of terms, functions of voting center coordinators, Plan República personnel and electoral witnesses.
Also, the procedures for installing and setting up the electoral tables.
According to the presentation of the aforementioned manual, it details aspects that guarantee foundations such as: the principle “one voter, one vote”, through the Integrated Authentication System (SAI).
The route of voters through the polling station, from their arrival to their departure, as well as the guarantee that the counting of votes, an expression of the democratic exercise of sovereignty, is carried out effectively.
It also contains possible contingencies during the Voting Board Constitution Act and how to proceed; the elements to consider in the treatment of people with disabilities; and a list of those people who should be given priority to vote.
