The official opening ceremony of Eastvara was carried out by Anna Budiman (CEO Commercial BSD Sinar Mas Land), Surya Adil Wijaya (President Director of Eastvara), Chandra Sugiarto (JV Project Division Head Sinar Mas Land), Dhany Hairlambang Purwanto (Finance Commercial BSD Division Head Sinar Mas Land), Kun Susetiawati (Construction Division Head Sinar Mas Land), Kevin Subrata (Director of EASTVARA), Hermawan Wijaya (Director of PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk), Arief Ramon (Director of Eastvara), Budi Suryo Bejo (President Commissioner of Eastvara), and Vandi Isvara Muljadi (Commissioner of Eastvara), on Thursday (25/7), at Eastvara, BSD City.
Carrying the tagline The Light of Asia, Eastvara comes with a fresh, modern, and aesthetic look, inspired by the exotic luxury of Asian architecture. Asian culture and cuisine have become an attraction, not only for culinary lovers but also for shopping enthusiasts around the world for the past few years. This lifestyle center was designed by All(Zone), a renowned architectural firm from Thailand to build a mall with a beautiful open concept in a modern architectural style.

In the soft opening event, Eastvara introduced its flagship icon, the Light Show in the Urban Groove area. The Light Show schedule can be watched three times every day at 19:00, 20:00, and 21:00 WIB. This show can be enjoyed by visitors, from children to adults for free.

Not only that, a culinary festival with the theme Asian Delight was also presented in the series of Eastvara’s inaugural opening events. The culinary festival presents a variety of food and beverage tenants typical of the archipelago and Asia. A number of series of events also enlivened the Eastvara culinary festival such as magic shows, bubble shows, mini games, live music, dance competitions, fire dances, children’s fashion shows, and meet & greet cost players which will take place from July 25 to August 4, 2024 located in the Spring Ville area.
Eastvara stands on 6.2 hectares of land and has more than 60 tenants from various leading retail brands, such as AEON Supermarket, Chien Khang Thang Thai Reflexology which is the largest in Indonesia, Funtasia by Minitopia with the concept of the first interactive museum and playground in Indonesia, Pet Family Entertainment called Doggy Town with the largest and most luxurious concept in the Serpong area, as well as several well-known F&B tenants such as Sushi Hiro, Joe & Dough, Bebek Tepi Sawah, Starbucks, and many more.
In terms of concept, Eastvara is built with geometric architecture that emphasizes exposed materials with large open spaces. Eastvara will be divided into four zones, namely Urban Groove, Spring Ville, The Light Atrium, and Sunset Boulevard. Each zone will have iconic art installations to architecture with typical Asian cultural nuances with strands of pink tabebuya (trumpet) trees that resemble cherry blossoms. The combination of architecture with a touch of symmetrical lines, wide open areas for pedestrians, to retail spaces with ceiling heights reaching 8 meters makes Eastvara the newest iconic destination in BSD City.
Located in the sunrise property area of BSD City, Eastvara can be accessed via a number of toll roads, namely the Serpong-Balaraja Toll Gate Section 1A, the Jakarta-Merak Toll Road (Kebon Jeruk Toll Road), and the Jakarta-Serpong Toll Road which is integrated with the Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road, JORR 2, Soekarno-Hatta Airport Toll Road, Serpong-Cinere Toll Road, Jagorawi Toll Road, and Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road Section 1B which will soon be operational by the end of 2024.
