Nearly 70 thousand people attended Colombiamoda 2024

The 35th edition of Fashion Colombia The event has come to an end, and in terms of business, attendance and economic impact, it has exceeded all expectations. The event brought in a little over 13 million dollars to the city, 70,500 people attended the fair over the three days and 12,500 buyers established business ties.

According to Sebastian Diez, CEO of Inexmodathe fair responded to attendees with a great program: “We had a full attendance between Plaza Mayor and the entire ‘‘City Circuit’ of 70,500 people who joined this initiative, that is, filling the Medellín stadium twice, around a program not only of fashion but also cultural, artistic, conversations so that they join the fashion Week from Colombia”.

The good news on the economic front was also announced by the Secretary of Economic Development, María Fernanda Galeano, who explained the balance of the fair: “We have very important news for the city regarding an economic spillover, an economic impact of 13.3 million dollars, when we had said that we were expecting around 10 million dollars in economic impact, it is very important because this is what the city has left as a result of the fair.”

A total of 600 brands participated in the 35th edition of Colombiamoda, 90% national and 10% international, from regions of the country such as Antioquia, Cundinamarca, Santander, Norte de Santander and Valle del Cauca, and countries such as Brazil, Panama, Spain and India.
