Thomas Matthew Crooksthe 20-year-old, whom The FBI identified the perpetrator of the attack former U.S. President Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania, appeared in a 2022 television ad for BlackRock Inc.
The company, which is one of the world’s largest asset managers, confirmed in a statement that it had withdrawn from circulation adwhich features scenes filmed in an economics teacher’s classroom at Bethel Park High School.

Crooks was a senior at the school in 2022 and appeared on screen twice during the 30-second ad.
He is seen sitting at a desk in a classroom, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, and at no time does he speak.
Thomas Matthew Crookswho was killed by Secret Service agents after firing multiple shots at Trump, appeared as a student in an advertisement filmed in Bethel Park High Schoolwhere he graduated in 2022.
BlackRock reported that Trump’s attacker, identified by the FBI, was not paid for appearing in this television commercial.

In a statement, the firm said: “In 2022, we published an announcement with a Bethel Park High School teacher, in which several unpaid students briefly appeared in the background, incluido Thomas Matthew Crooks“.
The company added that all video footage will be made available to the relevant authorities and that the video has been removed from circulation.
The assassination attempt at the rally, where Trump was addressing supporters, resulted in the death of one attendee and serious injuries to two others. BlackRock condemned the attack, calling it “abhorrent” and expressing relief that Trump was not seriously hurt.

“The attempted assassination of former President Trump is abominable“We are grateful that former President Trump was not seriously injured and our thoughts are with all of the innocent bystanders and victims of this horrific act, especially the individual who was killed,” the company said.
The FBI-identified Trump attacker who appeared in the TV ad for BlackRock was armed with an AR-type rifleand moved across the rooftops to find a strategic point from which to aim at the now candidate.
