This actress plays ‘Dr. Fernanda Ríos’, a successful businesswoman in the technology world, who many say will be the last love of ‘Pedro Coral’, played by Miguel Varoni; furthermore, she is the mother of ‘Mariana’, a rebellious and spoiled young woman who is the girlfriend of ‘Pedrito Jr.’, portrayed by actor Carlos Torres.
Ana María Trujillo accepted the role because her daughters are now grown and her husband is often traveling, which is why she decided to return to acting, after being absent for 13 years, and she did so as the protagonist of this new story.
Many of her followers have wondered what has happened in the actress’s life during the years she was absent and away from the entertainment world; very few know that she married a wealthy man, 12 years older than her, and they are based in Punta Cana.
Who is Ana María Trujillo’s husband?
His name is José Francisco Arata; he graduated in Geology from the University of Torino and in Geological Engineering from the Central University of Venezuela. This 66-year-old Venezuelan worked at the company Maraven S.A, a petroleum subsidiary in his native country between 1986 and 1992.
In 2008, he moved to the city of Bogotá, where he co-founded the company Pacific Rubiales together with other partners and investors he met during his job in Venezuela. This company became the second most important oil company in Colombia, after Ecopetrol.
After a few years of living in Colombia, he met actress Ana María Trujillo, although he did not have it easy when it came to winning her over; in 2015 they got married in a simple but very loving wedding in Punta Cana, and since then they have lived there with their two daughters, the result of her previous relationship with Francisco Cardona, brother of actor Manolo Cardona.
In that same year, José Francisco Arata left his position as president and departed from Pacific Rubiales and settled with his wife in the Dominican Republic; since then, they have shown their love on social media and confirmed that age is just a number.
A few months ago, the businessman suffered one of the most tragic losses of his life, as his eldest daughter, Kimberly Arata, passed away, leaving a deep void in his soul.
