Pakistani fishermen making banjo their livelihood

Muhammad Siddique plays the banjo in Port Grand and the people in his concert appreciate his talent.

They are so fond of this musical instrument that they left fishing to learn it and make it their livelihood.

Siddique said that he was a fisherman but learned to play the banjo for his hobby.

He said that this is from Balochistan instrument But it is also played and heard in Sindh.

He said that the banjo compared to other instruments Balochistan is more popular, but classical banjo players are now few and far between.

‘The banjo is made of wood which requires memorizing the notes of any chord to play.

He said that it takes a lot of time to learn the banjo, but if you have a passion, three months is enough.

He was asked if the banjo player would pass away from fishing, he said that the number of people who are interested in music is less but not gone.
