High temperatures and mugginess dominate in Italy and the cities are getting hot. But summer it’s hotter in Rome or Milan? The Colonel answers the question Mario Giuliacci in a video. Well, the verdict is far from obvious. As he explains in the video on the YouTube channel MeteoGiuliaccithe meteorologist reports the thermometer data and announces a deliberately “ambiguous” response.
In Rome the maximum temperatures between July and August they are on average around 31 degrees while the minimums are at 20. In Milan the average maximum is 30 degrees, 20 the minimums. So the Capital has the primacy of the metropolis? “I have to deny that it is hotter in Rome – says Giuliacci – In Milan there is more humidity and less ventilation while in Rome the famous west wind blows…”, so the feeling of discomfort for the heat is higher in the Lombard capital.
