The General Commissioner of the Lithuanian Police, Renatas Požėla, emphasized that the aim is to create not only a uniform security standard, but also an infrastructure standard – so that the officers serving both in the big city and in the small town have dignified and comfortable conditions to work and serve the people who apply.
Rietave, Plungė st. in the existing building, it was necessary to improve the working conditions – for example, the premises were still heated by a solid fuel stove. The reconstruction, which ensures dignified and modern working conditions for the officers of the Rietavos PK and people contacting the police, was initiated and carried out by the owners of the building – UAB “Plungės lagūna”.
