SINGER and songwriter Neriah has released a new single titled Driving Weather, taken from her second album set for release this fall.
A feel-good California vibe is heard throughout Driving Weather, complete with layers of slick harmonies and lyrics about summer love.
“I wrote this song about one summer when I fell in love with a guy in Malibu,” Neriah says.
“I’ve liked him for a while, but it was special when we were driving down the highway with the windows down. When the weather was nice, he would call it Driving Weather. This song reminds me of a freer, more loving time,” she continued.

The single Driving Weather marks a new chapter in Neriah’s musical journey, as she now acts as an independent musician.
Moving away from the ballad songs that she often shared before, Neriah, this time, welcomes her Lover Girl era complete with a softer appearance starting from the choice of pastel colors to the upbeat songs that she has prepared to color this year’s summer playlist.
Her upcoming new album will be the beginning of a new Neriah. Neriah with all her happy stories.
Most recently, Neriah opened for Madison Beer’s West Coast tour, The Spinnin Tour, where she performed her single First Time, which she released in June and her new era debut.
With an 80s synth-pop feel, First Time is a musical expression of the feeling of falling in love and other moments that make our hearts beat. (Z-1)
