According to an announcement by the Public Employment Service (DYPA) for the 2024-2025 school year, the applications – the submission of which was completed yesterday – amounted to 4,146.
The operation of privately owned VNS starts from September 1 to July 31, 06:45-16:00 (Monday-Friday) and is aimed at infants-toddlers from 6 months to 4 years. A daily program of creative activities is implemented for the children’s harmonious psychosomatic and educational development.
In Attica, BNS operate in the municipalities of Acharna, Agia Varvara, Ano Liosion, Elefsina, Keratsini, Moschato, Olympic Village, Peristeri and Haidari, while in the rest of Greece they operate in the cities of Agrini, Arta, Drama, Igoumenitsa, Ioannina, Kavala, Kalamata, Karditsa , Karpenisi, Komotini, Larissa, Messolonghi, Naoussa, Xanthi, Patras, Pylaia Thessaloniki, Serres and Trikala.
In total, up to 1,492 infants and toddlers will be accommodated completely free of charge, with the selection criteria being economic and social. Provisional tables of selected, alternate and excluded infants will be posted within the next interval.
