Maucash Marketing Director, Indra Suryawan, revealed that his party supports the Financial Services Authority’s (OJK) plan to increase the maximum loan funds. peer to peer (P2P) lending or loans online (pinjol) up to IDR 10 billion.

“Maucash just supports the direction from OJK. Because we believe OJK as a regulator and complies with its policies. So Maucash itself will certainly follow the direction if it is implemented later,” said Indra when contacted on Sunday (21/7).

Maucash, he continued, sees the increase in the debt limit as positive, where it also hopes that industries that are currently not developing can develop their companies and those that are developing can further increase their business capacity.

“Because we believe that strong capital can move the industrial economy to be better from day to day,” he added.

This, continued Indra, is also in line with Maucash’s tagline as a spirit, namely “Growing Together, Giving Meaning”.

“This means that when partners grow, we also grow because we can be part of their journey in giving meaning,” he said.

Indra emphasized that Maucash’s readiness to distribute large loan facilities will be prepared carefully. Starting from selecting the right customer segment and a strict underwriting process, Indra hopes that this can be a strategic step for Maucash in mitigating risks in the future.

“We hope that in the future the segments we target are segments that do have the capability and quality in terms of assessment and in accordance with our appetite,” he said. (N-2)
