“They say they are going to Miraflores, we are going to Miraflores too to celebrate Nicolás’ perfect victory,” said yesterday, the coordinator of the Venezuela Nuestra campaign, Diosdado Cabello, while warning the opposition that they will not allow violence if they try to ignore the results of the presidential election on Sunday, July 28.
From Guárico state, Cabello said that the opposition must understand the government’s victory, “we will not allow them to do anything because there has been a lot of fighting for peace here,” he said.
“We have been in this battle for 25 to 26 years now. The people have learned and the governments of the world will listen to these people speaking. On the 28th we will show the world the perfect organization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, of the Great Patriotic Pole and of the people of Venezuela. Because the perfect victory ends when mommy and daddy’s children pack up their things and go home,” he said.
He also questioned the use of migration to campaign and get votes this Sunday. “Deceit and deception, who asked them to leave? Who asked for a blockade and sanctions? They have no morals,” he said.
