Balinese community figure Made Bagus Kertha Negara or commonly called Ajik Sting held a meeting with HE Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil and Gas who is also a prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain. In the meeting, the two made an agreement to work together to build holding company in the fields of investment, funding and trade in Bali.

“So the result of my meeting with the Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain was to work together to invest in Bali,” said Ajik Sting, Monday (22/7).

Furthermore, with this collaboration, Bali will have access to international markets, the latest technology, and abundant resources. “This means more business opportunities and jobs for the Balinese people,” he said.

Then, with the formation of this holding company, it is hoped that it will fund various large projects in Denpasar and other areas in Bali, ranging from infrastructure, tourism, to technology.

“We hope that this collaboration can create jobs for the Balinese people, and make Bali more advanced and modern,” he said.

In this way, it can help the Balinese government and people to be more active and make local products more… go international.

“We will make Bali a more active trade center. Our local products can go international more easily, and quality goods from abroad can also enter more easily,” said Ajik Sting.

With this large investment and funding cooperation, the economy of Denpasar and Bali in general is expected to be stronger and more stable. “Of course this will have an impact on the economic welfare of the community which will increase,” he said.

After the meeting, Ajik Sting presented a souvenir to the Minister of Oil and Gas HE Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa in the form of a painting by Vincent Van Gogh.

Find Investors
Meanwhile, the Bali Provincial Government stated that the Gilimanuk-Mengwi Toll Road project is currently undergoing a re-auction process to find investors and also function as an operator.

“It is currently being processed at the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT),” said Head of the Bali Provincial Transportation Agency I Gde Wayan Samsi Gunarta on the sidelines of a logistics conference and forwarder Asia Pacific in Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, Bali, some time ago.

He explained that currently the government is the initiator of the project (solicited) because it has not received funding. Previously, the toll road project which was planned to be 96.84 kilometers long unsolicited or initiated by investors or business entities.

He said the re-auction process was carried out because there were several indicators that had not been completed, including those related to the readiness of investors to finance the toll road project which is planned to be the longest in Bali.
