Some things should stay under wraps. That’s what most people think after actor Justin Long posted an experience he had with wife Kate Bosworth. Despite the fact that he wanted to portray true love, his story was met with a very negative response.
Kate Bosworth has shone in the past, for example, in the movie The Horse Charmer or as Lois Lane in the adventure film Superman Returns. In public, she always acts like a real lady with a dose of nobility and elegance. People were even more surprised by the story, which her husband, actor Justin Long, released to the world without hesitation.
In the past, he dated Drew Barrymore or Amanda Seyfried, for example, and reportedly started dating Kate after her separation from her first husband, director Michael Polish, in 2021. Since they went public with their relationship, the partners treat each other like two lovebirds and last year they said they said their yes. And the actor, known for example from the films The Walrus Man or The Barbarian, has now deemed it appropriate to share one story from their life together.
But this story is not much to laugh at. Indeed, Justin talked about how he once soiled the matrimonial bed with his own feces after having food poisoning. On Kurt Sutter and Katey Sagal’s PIE podcast, he recounted how he got sick while on vacation in Mexico. “At one point that night I woke up and – there’s no other way to put it, I can’t walk around like hot mess – I fucked the bed. I fucked the bed and she was in that bed,” said the actor with how nice his wife treated him then.
“She didn’t judge me, I didn’t have to feel bad about it. And I felt so happy. I was blowing my brains out and she was looking at me lovingly and I was thinking how romantic that is,” added the artist. But people did not find his story so romantic.
“If I were Kate Bosworth, I’d be heading to a divorce lawyer. “No man should ever humiliate his wife like this by talking about such an unfortunate event,” said one of Page Six’s readers. “Dude, you know you’re way out of your league with this woman, right? So these kinds of things that will humiliate the hell out of your beautiful wife are things you should probably keep to yourself,” adds another. “Was it really necessary to share this? It’s a detail that I think should be left unsaid,” says another, and most of the other comments echo this sentiment.
How Kate herself reacted to her husband’s confession is not clear. But what is certain is that many people, when saying the names of the married couple, will never get the image of their romantic night in Mexico out of their heads.
