The first exhibition of paintings decorated with truck art in Karachi

On behalf of ‘Sarkar Truck Art’, an organization of truck art artists Karachi I this week Trick art The first exhibition of the paintings was held, where the visitors appreciated the art, but the organizers suspected that the artists associated with it did not get recognition.

25 to 30 works of truck art were presented in this exhibition.

The founder of the organization Tariq Khan told Independent Urdu that the exhibition of truck art paintings United Statesare taking place in different countries including Germany and China, but now their exhibition has started in Pakistan as well.

According to Tariq Khan: ‘Trick art artists don’t get the recognition they deserve. So we thought of holding an exhibition to encourage these artists.’

The paintings in this exhibition included paintings from various locations including the Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge in America, and truck art.

Tariq Khan said that ‘Apart from this, this exhibition also includes paintings of working women, various birds and animals. All these pattings are made by Naveed Shehzad, a member of ‘Sarkar Truck Art’.

Bahria University teacher Dr. Maleeha, who came to see the exhibition, while talking to Independent Urdu said that ‘Art is very important for the society, without which life is quite empty. These colors add color to life.’

Appreciating the truck art, he added that seeing a truck decorated with art, you cannot say that driving will be boring. Now this art is a part of the culture of Pakistan and we should encourage these artists to promote this art too.

Truck art of Pakistan is famous all over the world. Many countries have been inspired by this and decorated their buses and trains with truck art. There is also a practice of creating truck art on various utensils, shoes and clothes and now truck art paintings are also becoming quite popular.
