We have learned from the CEO of Air Antilles that the airline fully resumed flights between the French Caribbean Islands on Monday, July 22. “This is a new milestone for our company”President Jérôme Arnaud assured us after the first of the early morning flights from Martinique and Guadeloupe landed in Saint-Martin.

Air Antilles is the only airline under Caribbean Airlines that serves the French islands in the region until the judicial liquidation of its parent company, the Caire Group, in August 2023. The following month, Pointe-à-Pitre Airlines validated the partial acquisition of Cairo by Cipim (holding of the Edeis Group) in alliance with the Community of St. Maarten, but the new company, Air Antilles, is waiting to obtain the airline certificate to resume its flights.

“We are very proud to see our passengers in St. Martin, Guadeloupe and Martinique. The plans collectively envisioned for St. Martin and Edes are being deployed according to plan.”, Jerome Arnault announced on the tarmac. “We will now reach our cruising speed and then look at expanding to other destinations within twelve months”he added.
