Dear listeners,

Today I address you with a lump in my throat and deep gratitude in my heart. After 14 years on the air of the Circuito Éxitos radio program, the time has come to close this cycle and begin a new stage in my career as a communicator.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the directors of Circuito Éxitos for having opened the doors of their station to me and for having trusted in my work during all these years, starting with Enrique Cuscó, my lifelong friend, who supported me in a very difficult moment. To my dear Jaime Ross, who has always been my support whenever I have needed it. To Antonio Serfaty, a gentleman in every sense of the word, and to Yohara Paredes, my super production manager. Also to all those who, in one way or another, made my journey in radio a pleasure. There are many, and I do not name them because I do not want to leave anyone out. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my passion for culture and the arts through the airwaves and for allowing me to reach so many homes throughout the country.

A special and heartfelt message of gratitude to journalist Mayte Navarro, Madame Glamour, who for sixteen years (because her section started when I was at 90.3 FM) has accompanied me in the “recreíto,” as she calls it, an oasis that transported us to other places and different ways of life, that of European royalty, and that allowed hundreds of thousands of people to disconnect for a few minutes from the harsh reality we live in Venezuela. I admire her professionalism, her responsibility and her elegance in communicating. Dear Mayte, I wish for many more years together.

To my clients, for having trusted me for so many years. It has been an honour to be their voice and image.

But above all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear listeners, for having accompanied me on this radio journey. Thank you for tuning in every weekend, for your messages of support, for your constructive criticism and for your loyalty throughout all these years. It has been you, with your love and your complicity, who have made this programme a unique and special space.

From now on, I will begin a new stage at Unión Radio Cultural, 90.3 FM, with María Alejandra López. I am returning to my original home, from where I hope to continue supporting and spreading the diverse cultural manifestations with the same passion and dedication as always. I know that it will be an exciting challenge and I am sure that I will count on your company and support in this new adventure. We will let you know when and how this new phase begins. In the meantime, I will continue to broadcast my program through my Instagram account, @cjaimesb, and through Mayte Navarro’s, @mainav. I invite you to follow us and continue listening to the good news we have for you.

Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart, for having been part of this beautiful journey in my career as a communicator. I hope to continue counting on your affection and to continue being partners in the new journey that we are about to begin together. Farewell, dear listeners!

With all my affection,

Carolina
