This is the time for the international community to increase sanctions on Iran – under its guidance, the Yemeni Houthi group is causing severe damage to the freedom of the seas and trade routes. Iran is the head of the snake and must be stopped now.”
Earlier, the Israeli army announced that its fighter jets bombed Houthi sites in Yemen in response to a drone attack targeting Tel Aviv on Friday.
Two regional officials said the Israeli raids targeted gas and oil depots and a power station in the Red Sea port of Hodeidah in Yemen.
It is noteworthy that the Houthis claimed responsibility for launching a long-range drone that hit the coastal city of Tel Aviv, killing an Israeli and wounding several others.
