We met by chance in Thessaloniki when I was 17. Since then we have been family. With our ups and downs, our craziness, our secrets, our endless nights, our travels, our adventures that remind fantasy film, with our loves, with psychoanalysis on the veranda. At every premiere he struggles to surprise me and at every premiere I know he will be here…
At every start, I am proud of him for accomplishing everything and for being anxious and timid as soon as I tell him “do it!” He will succeed” he tries his best and always succeeds. We manage to admire him, to be proud of him, to love him, to organize everything that seems to be unorganized and at the end he has the widest smile you can meet in a human being.
My Harry is the person that everyone around me knows how much I have a big weakness for him and how much I go crazy with joy when I see him with his suitcase at the door of my house.
Every time he comes to Athens, we go to my grandmother’s for coffee, which they love, and then always to Peristeri in order to organize the program of the evening… and that’s how it all starts.
Haris is the man I pick up at 3 in the followingnoon and I announce to him that I am going to Preveza to pick him up to go to Thessaloniki and he follows with all the joy in the world.
He’s the one who when I’m Serifo picks me up and says “I’m coming, I’m from Piraeus”, and the one who when I suggest that we play Truth and Dare and be resilly never says no
