MeteoGiuliacci, the heat ordeal in the South will continue in August. “Apocalyptic drought” –

A focus on the situation in Southern Italy carried out by the experts of MeteoGiuliacci. The sun and the heat are dominating relentlessly in the regions of the South and we must also remember “the very serious drought in progress, which is becoming apocalyptic”. “The reality is surpassing all imagination and it is not clear how we can get to the month of September”, say the experts once more, launching a serious alarm.

Below-average temperatures around the corner. Sottocorona and worsening due to bad weather

But what kind of weather should we expect in August in these areas? “The weather trends for the next month – we read on meteogiuliacci.it – they do not promise anything good. The August period should be very hot in the South. The conditions are not yet suitable for the arrival of disturbed fronts and therefore the drought will continue undaunted and will even worsen further, spreading even to other regional areas”. In the next few days, that of the end of July, a slight cooldown is instead expected, with temperatures returning to the summer averages of the period. “Summer is becoming an ordeal in all respects. And even the heat in September is a real option. It is clear that if something does not change radically, the water situation in the South will become an apocalypse and there will be no choice but to adapt to an absolutely disconcerting scenario”, the rest of the climate warning.
