Aim high Jake Paul. The former content creator and now boxer, rHe took on UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, following defeating Mike Perry (ex UFC and now in the Bare Knuckle of Franco Tenaglia and Conor McGregor), to a future fight with boxing rules.
“Alex Pereira, you say you want to box. I’m the king of this. I’m the king of this. Come on. We can make it happen. I love you, Alex Pereira. … I just beat a BKFC champion. “I’ve beaten several UFC champions. He said he wants to box. So Alex Pereira, following Mike Tyson, let’s make it happen,” Jake Paul said in the ring.

Then a surreal image came to light. While Paul was still in the ring being interviewed, Pereira quickly connected with Paul on a Face Time video call. The UFC champion shared his perspective: “Come on! Boy.”

Paul, 27, has boxed former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley (twice), though both were past their prime as fighters. Pereira, 37, would not only be the biggest UFC champion Paul would face, but also the youngest (at the time). ‘Poatan’ recently stated that he would like to box in the future.
Later, at a press conference, Jake Paul left a message for Dana White, CEO of the UFC: “Will Dana White let him leave (the UFC)? It’s too big a risk… if he might embarrass his highly-praised number one fighter right now.”
