Ladarius Morshun Brownlee, 28, was taken into custody in the early hours of July 5 following he allegedly confessed to shooting his girlfriend Seyeddah ‘Zahra’ Hashemi, 28, who police found in the street with life-threatening injuries her.
Brownlee now faces one count of murder.
He is being held on $900,000 bail – as TikTok users comb through their videos on the popular @denoandzahra page, suggesting it may have been an abusive relationship.
In a video out now on X, Brownlee can be seen putting Hashemi in a chokehold as she tells him to “get out of her video.”
