DYPA: Through Gov.gr, Land Registry applications for the “My Home” Program – 2024-07-21 14:02:53

Borrowers of the “My Home” program have the possibility to electronically submit the details of their pending applications to the Hellenic Land Registry on a special platform of DYPA.

In this way, the beneficiaries are served more easily and quickly, so that the stipulated times of disbursement of the loan for the property they wish to acquire are respected.

This platform is being implemented following a memorandum of cooperation recently signed by DYPA and the “Hellenic Land Registry” for the swift completion of joint actions for “My Home”, with the cooperation of the Ministers of Social Cohesion and Family Sofia Zaharakis and Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou and the Deputy Minister Digital
Government of Konstantinos Kyranakis.

Specifically, the platform directly allows borrowers to register and track their open applications at the country’s cadastral offices.

In her statement, the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sofia Zaharaki points out: “We are simplifying and speeding up the procedures of the “My Home” program even more. To date, 3,686 young women and men, up to 39 years old, found the house they wanted, and their loan was disbursed in record time. Another 4,413 loan contracts are ready.

With the platform implemented, thanks to our excellent cooperation with the Hellenic Land Registry, we enable the beneficiaries themselves, with a few clicks, to complete the actions required to control the property. Without hassle and stress regarding their loan disbursement deadlines.”

The Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou stated: “We are particularly happy that the actions of the Ministry of Digital Governance directly improve the daily life of citizens in so many areas. For the beneficiaries of the “My Home” program, time is an extremely important factor, so that they can acquire a home as soon as possible and, now, the Greek Land Registry makes it easier for them”.

The Deputy Minister of Digital Governance Konstantinos Kyranakis said: “For us, it is of vital importance for the new couples that the “My Home” program succeeds and that is why transfer applications will be considered as a matter of priority.”

The Governor of DYPA, Spyros Protopsaltis said: “Thousands of young people will be able to complete the purchase of their first home faster. Citizens using the “My Home” program will now be served in a more efficient and modern way through the new special platform that was created, following our fruitful collaboration with the Hellenic Land Registry”.

The President of the Hellenic Land Registry, Stelios Sakaretsios said: “Through the Land Registry application platform created for the “My Home” program, we enable new couples to have priority in the transfer of their contract, ensuring the monitoring of the procedures for compliance with terms of their loan. In this way, more young couples will find it easier to acquire their first home.”

The process

Those prospective borrowers who have submitted an application to a real estate office as part of “My Home” can declare their application details to the “Hellenic Land Registry” so that they can be processed within the program’s deadlines.

On the platform, borrowers follow the following steps:

  • fill in the personal passwords on Taxisnet
  • choose whether it is an application for the registration of a registrable deed and transfer of ownership, or for the registration of an encumbrance and
  • fill in the protocol number of their application in the Land Registry, the year of submission as well as the land office of the country in which they submitted it.

According to newsit, through the platform borrowers will have the opportunity to monitor the completion of the above declarations – applications.
