In an official statement, the ministry considered “Israel’s targeting of oil tanks in the port of Hodeidah a clear violation of international humanitarian law and its rules, which stipulate the preservation of civilian lives and the maintenance of civilian property.”

The statement pointed out that “the Israeli aggression on Yemen and its targeting of civilian objects, including oil tanks, confirms the enemy’s insistence on its arrogance in an attempt to double the suffering of the Yemeni people, and dissuade them from their firm and principled positions in supporting the Palestinian people, backing their cause, and backing their valiant resistance.”

The statement held “the international community, headed by the United Nations, the Security Council and international organizations, fully responsible for the Israeli aggression once morest the Yemeni people and its blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen.”
