Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is now available

When we first saw Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess last year, many of us were left wondering what this new proposal would be regarding. Capcombut following the success that the Japanese developer has had along with the incredible aesthetics of the game, everyone’s expectations remained high.

Now, Xbox console players, PlayStation players, PC players, and Game Pass members can enjoy this new action-strategy offering inspired by Japanese folklore.

This story introduces players to the land of Mount Kafuku, a gleaming mountain home to peaceful villagers and animals. Once filled with life, nature, and vibrant beauty, it has now been overrun by sinister desecration and the Furies, plunging its inhabitants into chaos.

Swoop, slash, and strategize your way to the Torii Gates as Soh, the guardian who must protect the mountain priestess, Yoshiro, from the sinister furies. The mountain priestess is blessed with sacred powers that purify desecration through ceremonial kagura dances.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Key Features:

• A unique cycle of day and night: During the day, players will explore the village, purge “defiled” villagers, assign them various roles, and choose where to place them to best protect the priestess Yoshiro and prepare for the setting sun. When night falls, Soh and the villagers must work together to protect Yoshiro from the emerging hordes of furies pouring out from the Torii gates scattered throughout the mountain.
• Meeting with various villagers: The residents of Mount Kafuku must be saved from desecration and assigned to different roles to aid in the battle once morest the Furies. Learn the characteristics of each role, such as Lumberjacks, Ascetics, and Archers, to prepare them for the fight. Players can upgrade these roles to gain more support and give orders to the villagers, as they fight together to defeat the Furies and purify each village.
• Facing the sinister furies: As night falls, Furies emerge from the other world and attack the priestess with a variety of fearsome attacks. The protagonist, Soh, must use sword techniques resembling traditional dances and lead the villagers to defend her. Decide whether to focus on melee attacks or support tactics. Test your strategic skills on ever-changing battlefields once morest various variants of Furies.
