Ralf Schumacher presents his new partner on Instagram. After several years of being single, Michael Schumacher’s brother tells us that he is gay.

– The most beautiful thing in life is when you have a partner by your side to share everything with, he writes.

Ralf Schumacher, 49, competed in Formula 1 for ten years and during that time was one of Germany’s greatest sportsmen.

His brother Michael won seven World Championship titles in Formula 1, Ralf won a race and was, as of 2001, married to Cora Schumacher. The couple had a son, David, and were for a long time the big celebrity couple in Germany and were often seen in the media, but when the relationship broke, a very dirty and difficult divorce was also started.

Been together for two years

The divorce was a fact in 2015 and since then Ralf Schumacher has been single. He works as a television pundit for Formula 1, follows his son’s career and has also supported his nephew Mick Schumacher during his career in F1 and now as a reserve driver at Mercedes.

But he has not presented any new relationship.

Until now.

In a careful post on Instagram, he has posted a picture of himself and his partner at sunset and writes:

– The most beautiful thing in life is when you have a partner by your side to share everything with.

The post has been commented on by his employer and one of his friends, the singer Carmen Geiß. She posted a picture of Ralf and his partner around the same time, thereby confirming their relationship.

“I want to tell you regarding a person who plays a very special role in my life. For many years I have known and loved him endlessly. His presence in my life is a blessing, and our deep connection has only grown stronger over the years.

This wonderful person has an equally wonderful son, who means a lot to him and has been a source of joy and pride through many ups and downs. Together they have shared unforgettable moments and built a strong, loving relationship that cannot be shaken.

Today he has come out as gay. This step was for him an act of liberation and self-esteem. It was a brave decision that had long matured within him and which he now takes with pride and confidence. That he is now coming out is not only a personal triumph, but also a sign that he can finally live and love his true identity without fear or shame.”

She also comments on Ralf Schumacher’s post and confirms that Ralf Schumacher’s partner is called Etienne and that the couple have been together for two years.
