Implementing a relevant decision of its General Council, ADEDY decided, on the occasion of the opening of the 88th D.ETH, to hold a rally together with private sector workers on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., at the Statue of Venizelos in Thessaloniki.
As he states, among other things, he will have a dominant request “To live with dignity from our salary – STOP punctuality”.
With regard to the contentious framework he presents, he points out:
“At this juncture we claim:
▪ Increases in our wages by 10%, immediately, to cover losses from this year’s inflation.
▪ Abolition of the Solidarity Levy.
▪ Unfreezing of the 2016-2017 biennium.
▪ Tax-free at 12,000 euros.
▪ Restoration of the 13th and 14th salary.
▪ Increase and expansion of the Hazardous and Unhealthy Work Allowance. No cut of it.
▪ Support of E.S.Y. with brave funding. Health and Safety measures in workplaces and schools. Reducing the number of students to 1:15. No to layoffs and suspensions of staff.
▪ Repeal of the Hatzidakis Law (N.4808/2021) and the Georgiadis Law (N.5053/2023) on labor matters, as well as the repeal of all Laws that privatize Social Security. Restoration of Law 1264/1982.
▪ Recruitment of permanent staff to cover the thousands of organizational gaps that exist in the State, especially in the fields of Health, Education, Social Security, etc.
▪ At the same time, we say no to the privatization of Public Organizations and bodies”.
