Pensioners are awaiting payment from the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS) for the month of August 2024 in the coming days.
Through its account on the social network X, the IVSS confirmed the date on which it will make the payment to older adults.

“On July 22, the amount corresponding to the month of August for IVSS pensioners will be deposited,” reads X.
It should be noted that the body responsible for managing pensions is the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS).
Survivor
This pension is granted to the spouses or close relatives (children) of a deceased worker who has paid more than 750 weekly contributions throughout his or her working life.
Requirements
Two forms of Form 14-04.
Marriage certificate.
Birth Certificate of the children. If they are studying, they must provide proof of their studies.
Submit Form 14-08 if the child is incapacitated.
Death certificate.
Certificate of Employment under Form 14-100 in the event that a retired citizen has died.
Disability or handicap
It is provided to those people who have suffered an accident and are unable to work.
Requirements
Affidavit of having suffered an accident or illness according to Form 14-123.
Two complete forms according to Form 14-04.
Identity card.
Residual Disability Evaluation under Form 14-08.
Proof of Employment according to Form 14-100. This application will include an evaluation made by the IVSS certifying that the applicant is unable to work.
Old age
It is granted to senior citizens, especially men aged 60 and women aged 55, who have made at least 750 contributions to the country’s social security system.
Requirements
Identity card.
Two original forms for the Application for Cash Benefits under Form 14-04.
Form 14-100 or some type of employment certificate showing the last 6 years of your working life.
If the company where you work is no longer active, you must complete Form 14-205.
