ADRIEN Rabiot has officially parted ways with Juventus following the French midfielder did not extend his contract with the Old Lady.
“Adrien Rabiot and Juventus have officially parted ways. The French midfielder’s journey in Turin has come to an end following five years,” Juventus said as reported by BetweenThursday (18/7).
“Thank you for everything Cavallo Pazzo and we wish you the best for your future,” Juventus concluded.
Rabiot first joined Juventus in 2019 following being recruited as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Since arriving in Turin in 2019, Rabiot has won one Serie A title, two Italian Cups and one Italian Super Cup.
Rabiot has made 212 appearances and scored 22 goals for Juventus in all competitions. According to European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Rabiot and Juventus have failed to reach an agreement over a new contract.
Juventus reportedly offered a salary of 7 million euros (around Rp. 123 billion) per year, but was rejected by Rabiot.
Romano also said that Rabiot is likely to move to England next season. Several clubs are reportedly interested in the midfielder, including Arsenal and Manchester United. (Z-6)
