Investment attraction day brought together 21 Brazilian textile industries

Asuncion, IP Agency.- An investment attraction event, organized by NB Capitals, a company that plans to build a Textile Industrial Hub in Minga Guazú, brought together 21 Brazilian textile industries interested in the Maquila Regime. The foreign participants learned regarding the benefits, as well as the experiences of Brazilian companies that have been operating in Paraguay for some time, managing to consolidate their industries.

More than 50 people attended the event and on the occasion, the Executive Secretary of the National Council of the Export Maquila Industry (CNIME), Natalia Cáceres, explained that the maquila regime offers foreign companies unique opportunities, and highlighted the consolidation of the textile sector as the second largest exporter under this regime.

Cáceres said that the textile industry in Paraguay has a bright future, driven by growing regional demand and the potential to continue growing in the coming years.

“We welcome these initiatives that demonstrate the joint work of the public and private sectors to attract investment, generate employment and stimulate the economy,” said the Executive Secretary of CNIME.

The Governor of Itapúa, the Mayor of Minga Guazú, the Vice Consul of Brazil and businessmen from Ciudad del Este, as well as specialists from Rediex in Ciudad del Este, also participated in the meeting.
