K-Pop idol group Bigbang’s Taeyang will hold a solo concert. Titled The Light Year, the concert will take place in Seoul, South Korea, in August and September.
The news was conveyed by THEBLACKLABEL as Taeyang’s agency. The agency also launched the TAEYANG 2024 TOUR THE LIGHT YEAR poster on their official social media.
The poster features the K-pop idol staring intently ahead, making fans even more anticipating the return of the artist known for his unique looks.
Also written is information regarding the concert venue, namely the Olympic Hall, Seoul, South Korea. This concert will be held for two days, namely on August 31 and September 1, 2024. The plan is for this concert to also be the opening of Taeyang’s Asia tour.
Unlike previous concerts, fans will have the opportunity to attend a soundcheck, Q&A session, take pictures, and more. Ticket reservations will open at Interpark on July 17.
The Light Year marks Taeyang’s first solo concert in seven years, so fans are looking forward to his performance.
Earlier in 2023, Taeyang released his second EP Down to Earth, which featured songs such as VIBE, Shoong! and Seed.
He also appeared on Mnet’s ‘I-LAND 2,’ as the main producer for the division in charge of selecting the debut group from 24 members. (Z-1)
