Team Paraguay ready for Paris Olympics

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The national team is ready to take part in the world’s biggest sporting event, which will be held in the French capital.

“The entire team is working tirelessly to ensure that our athletes arrive at these games in the best possible condition,” said Camilo Pérez, president of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee.

He added that the effort is not only in the games, but is much greater. “We have been working for more than a year, so that our athletes can participate in the best way possible in the qualifiers and in the games,” said the official, in a video released by the entity.

Rocío Rivarola, COP’s sports director, explained that they focus on the comprehensive training of athletes.

“From the technical department and the center for applied sports sciences, physical preparation, continuous training of the entire environment that contributes to national sport and training in values ​​to bring sports culture to society, focusing and ensuring that our athletes can compete at the highest level” he said.

Meanwhile, Antonella Felippo, director of the center for applied sports sciences, stressed that the department’s commitment is to provide support in all aspects of the health and sports performance of athletes.

“We are very proud to be part of each athlete’s success,” he said.
